Trips

How do I create a trip, with multiple travel modes?

3min

When you want to plan a trip, you can do so by clicking either:

  • the suitcase ‘Trip’ icon at the top of the page;
  • from the ‘Quick Links’ section at the bottom of the Dashboard;
  • from the Navigation Menu.

After opening the trip page, you will see a form where you need to fill out details on the trip. Make sure this is filled out correctly, if you have trouble finding the trip later on, you can use our filters.

After filling out the trip details and saving, you will be presented with the Flights page, on the right hand side you will see your trip information. From here, you can either fill out the flight booking details, or change the travel method you wish to add with one of the tiles at the top of the page.

Use the tiles at the top of the page to add different travel segments.

When you have input your desired travel details, you can either click ‘Save’ or ‘Search’. Saving the trip will keep the travel details saved so that either you can book later, or you can save it for your travel arranger to book for you. Clicking search will show you the trip results from your search input.

If you have clicked search, you will be shown the travel options available for that trip. Each travel method page has slightly different formatting, but the same process applies to each trip booking. To make your trip results more tailored to you, you may want to use the filters we have on the left side of the pages.

After choosing your travel, you will be prompted with the traveller detail pop-up. This is where you confirm the user(s) taking the trip. After you have selected the correct passengers, clicking ‘Submit’ will take you to the Trip Review page.

After reviewing the trip, you will be asked if there is any special assistance needed for the trip, and proceeding from there, if for a flight or train, you will have a seating choice option.

When you have completed all forms correctly, press the ‘Book’ button and you will be taken to the Trip Details page where you will have a summary on the trip before finalising. If you have missed out any trip elements, you can click the ‘Add more elements’ button at the end of your booking.

After reviewing the trip detail page, if everything is correct then you can either click ‘Book Trip’ and proceed with payment, or depending on how your organisation is set up, you can send the trip to your approval manager for approval.
